Hi There!

Enchante.

My name is Nichole Grimm, but I go by Nikki. I am a Pittsburgh girl, through and through. I try to avoid saying things like "yinz", but sometimes it might slip out, and for that, I'm not sorry.

My husband, Michael and I live on the outskirts of the city. We have about a 15 to 20 minute drive to get to the majority of our immediate family members, and we consider ourselves very lucky for that....most days. Each holiday, birthday party, and event we have, is jam packed with warmth (mainly from the wine), laughter, sarcastic remarks, awkward encounters, and if it's a really good party, there's A LOT of dancing. So, we drink our wine, talk about the future, all the trips we want to take, our fears, relationship drama, and what makes the world the way it is, but we never lose site of how blessed we are to have one another. Our last name may be Grimm, but our lives most certainly are not.

I work in the Pittsburgh real estate market, and have been in the industry for the last 7 years, as a Mortgage Loan Officer for a local company, West Penn Financial Service. I have had the unique opportunity to watch this city grow, not just in real estate; but the tech industry, education, and health and medical fields. I truly love my career as an MLO, and you will hear me talk a lot about my journey in the industry. To all of those looking to buy a new home, whether it is your first, or fifth home, it is a wonderful opportunity to share that experience with you.

The Not So Grimm Life, is something that I currently do part time, to share all of my interests and passions life. It's a lifestyle blog. You will see a lot about travel, fashion, beauty, career advice, home decor, health and fitness, and of course Pittsburgh. I enjoy writing, and the blogging community is filled with some of the best people I have ever met. Just know that, this is not a place where I will be pumping out articles for you to read for the heck of it. I hope to inspire you with the content that I create, and I know that takes time, energy, and honest writing to achieve. All the writing on The Not So Grimm Life, is my own.
